IT'S "ALL HANDS ON BOARD" ANNUAL SEVA CONFERENCE For NBCTs - Friday, October 29, 2010 at Boyd Dining Center at Virginia Wesleyan College 4:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. SEVA General Meeting and keynote speaker. This year's conference is offered in conjunction with the Candidate Support Provider Training to better serve our NBCTs. All Region 2 NBCTs are welcome. Dinner is included with your registration. For Candidates - Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Boyd Dining Center at Virginia Wesleyan College A full day - 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. of information for all candidates, including Take One! and Advanced Candidates. The day will begin with an opportunity to chat with Region 2 NBCTs individually during registration and breakfast. Lunch will be provided and NBCTs from a variety of certificate areas will again be available to candidates. In addition, there will be a special Q & A session later. Your registration includes the continental breakfast and lunch. Sessions Include: Writing your portfolio entries - What are those questions really asking? Understanding Entry 4 - Documented Accomplishments - Common to all certificate areas and frequently a low-scoring entry. Doing your best at the assessment center - How can you prepare?
